Duties • Assisting the head coach with directing, coordinating, planning, organizing, and coaching of Mississippi Valley State Universitys MVSU men and women cross country-track and field program • Providing leadership and instruction in the personal and athletic development of student-athletes at MVSU • Primary duties in track & field will be throws, jumps, and vault coach • Recruitment of quality student-athletes academically and athletically • Meet day preparation, study, evaluate, and implement innovations in the sport of cross country-track and field • Strategy and use of equipment • Demonstrate professional integrity • Camps, clinics, and fundraising promotional and public relations activities • Speaking engagements and media interviews • Administration and coaching of summer camps • Knowledge of NCAA Division I rules compliance and compliance assistance software • NCAA SWAC Conference and University policies and procedures.
