Trade Compliance SpecialistPosition SummaryWe are seeking a Trade Compliance Specialist to support our import and export operations while ensuring compliance with applicable customs regulations and trade requirements. This position will serve as a key point of contact between internal teams, customs brokers, and logistics providers to ensure efficient and compliant cross-border transactions.Responsibilities<ul><li>Coordinate import and export shipments from origin through customs clearance and final delivery. </li><li>Review and approve trade documentation, including: <ul><li>Customs declarations (Pedimentos) </li><li>Certificates of Origin (USMCA/T-MEC) </li><li>Commercial invoices and supporting documentation </li></ul></li><li>Ensure compliance with Mexican Customs Law (Ley Aduanera), USMCA/T-MEC requirements, and IMMEX regulations when applicable. </li><li>Maintain accurate HS classifications and customs valuation records. </li><li>Work closely with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and carriers to facilitate shipment movement. </li><li>Resolve customs clearance issues and documentation discrepancies. </li><li>Monitor import/export activities to ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations. </li><li>Support internal and external compliance audits. </li><li>Maintain organized trade compliance records and documentation. </li><li>Provide guidance to internal stakeholders regarding import/export requirements and compliance processes. </li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. </li><li>3–6 years of experience in trade compliance, customs operations, import/export, or international logistics. </li><li>Strong knowledge of: <ul><li>Mexican Customs Regulations (Ley Aduanera) </li><li>USMCA/T-MEC </li><li>IMMEX Program (preferred) </li><li>HS Classification and Customs Valuation </li></ul></li><li>Experience working with customs brokers and freight forwarders. </li><li>ERP experience required; SAP preferred. </li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. </li><li>Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul>

Major Responsibilities and Duties:Instructional StrategiesDevelop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the district's curriculum program and show written evidence of preparation as required. Prepare lessons that reflect accommodations for differences in individual student differences.
Plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, materials, equipment, and technology that reflect understanding of the learning styles and needs of students assigned and present subject matter according to guidelines established by Texas Education Agency, board policies, and administrative regulations.
Conduct assessment of student learning styles and use results to plan instructional activities.
Work cooperatively with special education teachers to modify curricula as needed for special education students according to guidelines established in Individual Education Plans (IEP).
Work with other members of staff to determine instructional goals, objectives, and methods according to district requirements.
Plan and assign work to instructional aide(s) and volunteer(s) and oversee completion.
Student Growth and DevelopmentConduct ongoing assessment of student achievement through formal and informal testing.
Assume responsibility for extracurricular activities as assigned. Sponsor outside activities approved by the campus principal.
Be a positive role model for students; support the mission of the school district.
Classroom Management and OrganizationCreate classroom environments conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social, and emotional development of students.
Manage student behavior in accordance with Student Code of Conduct and student handbook.
Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
Assist in selecting books, equipment, and other instructional materials.
Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents required.

Comply with state, district, and school regulations and policies for classroom teachers.
