Direct operational experience in the ITAR and EAR (e.g., export licensing including writing agreement submissions and use of exemptions and exceptions) Direct operational experience processing international transactions (e.g., international shipments, international travel, foreign visitor requests, technology control plans) Direct operational experience conducting Denied Party Screenings, and use of related software search engines Knowledge of the FTR (export and/or import) and the OFAC regulations Demonstrated skills to drive process improvements Ability to work independently on complex tasks, to lead tasks or projects Strong business acumen Superior communication skills for effective interaction with technical personnel, engineers, and all levels of management Ability to thrive in an agile work environment Strong Attention to detail. One of the following may be used as equivalent to Bachelors Degree to meet minimum qualifications: NNS Apprentice School graduate Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate Associates Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience.
