The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success combined with well-established industry relationships. We are looking for someone that is ambitious and enthusiastic about implementing new trading ideas, concepts combined with a demonstrated ability to operate within established trading risk parameters.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Manage agency trading desk.</li><li>Work directly with salesforce to develop relationships with customers and issuers.</li><li>Trade new issue and secondary notes.</li><li>Understand how to analyze risk and hedge positions.</li><li>Support other areas of Mesirow's Institutional Sales and Trading department.</li></ul><p>Requirements:</p><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree.</li><li>Series 7 and 63 licensed.</li><li>Ability to manage and grow a business.</li><li>A demonstrated track record of successful trading combined with established relationships.</li><li>A strong commitment to performance, self-motivation and business success.</li><li>The ability to work to strict deadlines under pressure and multitask across analytical, administrative, and research activities in a detail oriented and timely manner.</li><li>Excellent analytical skills and the ability to effectively communicate.</li><li>Willingness to learn and apply from direct developmental feedback.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with peers, management, and clients.</li></ul><p>EOE</p>
