Customer Activities: Assist customer in solving formulating issues and options Provide technical support around each specialty product to all sales levels Represent Univar at all levels of customer (2,1,0) as necessary Coordinate supplier meetings at key/target customers Review opportunities, coordinates efforts to close with local sales organization Joint calls with Univar Sales and Suppliers at customers Assist in Business Development: o Develop technical proposals Generate product/service application solutions Identify new service/product opportunities through monitoring industry/market changes and customer needs Provides training and presentations Fully understands local markets/trends and products for customers Performs required SFDC tasks as required Internal Provide product and industry training to all Sales and Sales support teams as required Participate in all Industry related meeting / teleconferences Assist with Supplier/Customer contract negotiations Assist in Business plan development – Goals, forecasts Supports all aspects of development of business opportunities, targets, prospecting Provides communication to stakeholders Assist in tradeshows (national & local) and Industry conference/meetings ; website info, literature development Coordinates activities with Labs as needed . Supplier Activities: Manage communication with supplier technical recourses Collaborates on Product, service solutions Attend product training / continual education / updates Provide feedback on technical aspects, intelligence, marketplace Identify share loss, and develop joint plan to recapture Assist in qualification of potential new suppliers / products Assist with new Product launches .
