 Impact Recruitment is partnering with a well-established, multidisciplinary engineering firm seeking a Transportation Project Manager to lead transportation design projects across Georgia. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned engineering professional who thrives in a leadership role and enjoys managing projects from concept through construction. The role is based in Augusta, GA, but can be a hybrid position with occasional office visits (1-2x a month). 

Position Overview

 As a Transportation Project Manager, you will lead a design team while overseeing all aspects of project delivery  from pursuing new opportunities and preparing proposals to ensuring on-time and on-budget execution. This role blends technical expertise, team leadership, client relationship management, and business development. 

Key Responsibilities

<ul><li> Serve as Senior Technical Advisor and Subject Matter Expert </li><li> Identify new markets and maintain strong client relationships </li><li> Prepare proposals, qualification statements, estimates, and presentations </li><li> Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets </li><li> Lead project kickoff meetings and coordinate team workloads </li><li> Oversee design reviews and provide progress reporting </li><li> Manage bidding and construction phase coordination </li><li> Ensure quality control and compliance with company standards </li><li> Mentor and guide technical staff </li><li> Maintain organized project documentation and close out projects properly </li></ul>

Qualifications

<ul><li> 8+ years of engineering design consulting experience </li><li> 35 years of project management experience </li><li> BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent </li><li> Professional Engineer (PE) license in GA (or ability to obtain) </li><li> Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills </li><li> Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant technical software </li><li> Valid drivers license </li></ul>
