Address all events necessitating disciplinary action with the support of HR; Ensure that all workers are wearing required equipment (gloves, protective glasses, earplugs, safety shoes, etc.); Ensure yard equipment is maintained in an operating function at all times; Continuously verify all equipment to ensure its proper functioning and detect potential problems before they occur; Use data from reports to identify area of improvements and improve efficiencies; Ensure the proper execution of yard activities and ensure their compliance with company policies; Verify costs and expenses prior to making decisions (budget). Communicate, implement and enforce policies and procedures; Collaborate with management team to define administrative needs and requirements; Promote the autonomy of the workforce by empowering the employees, giving responsibility, recognizing good work and holding accountable when objectives are not met; Display exceptional communication and customer service skills with third party haulers; Actively participates in meetings and share relevant information with the team; Collaborate with truck drivers to ensure materials are loaded safely and correctly.
