Part-TimeJOB SUMMARYWe are looking for a Transportation Specialist for non-emergency transportation who is energetic, personable and safe. You must enjoy meeting people and be deeply familiar with area nuances, such as back roads and traffic patterns. We provide the automobile; however you should have a clean background check/driving record, driver’s license, and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. The Transportation Specialist must be able to load/unload wheelchair bound patients and bend and twist as necessary. Drivers will generally work from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., but occasional extended hours and weekend hours may be necessary, especially around holidays.Certified Nurse Assistant is a plus!  ESSENTIAL DUTIES<ul><li>Use route navigation apps and knowledge of area to get customers to appointments/errands on time</li><li>Interact with customers in a professional manner</li><li>Load/unload wheelchair bound patients</li><li>Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery van and notify manager of any issues</li><li>Drive in inclement weather, such as light snow, rain, etc…</li><li>Maintain logs to track routes</li><li>Work occasional evenings and weekends</li><li>PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS</li><li>Adhere to dress code, appearance is neat and clean.</li><li>Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.</li><li>Report to work on time and as scheduled.</li><li>Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner at all times.</li><li>Minimum of one year driving experience within 30-mile radius of store</li><li>Ability to manage time and routes for a streamlined delivery experience</li><li>Work well independently</li><li>Open and transparent communication</li><li>Familiarity with GPS devices or map apps</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>Must be at least 21 years old</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Can read and speak the English language well enough to do the job (including being able to read traffic signs</li><li>complete forms, and converse with enforcement officers)</li><li>Can safely operate the motor vehicle he/she will be driving</li><li>Must be able to be insured by the company</li><li>Current CPR certification or must be obtained within thirty (30) days of hire</li></ul>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES<ul><li>Strong interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and maintain a positive attitude</li><li>Ability to complete work assignments accurately and in a timely manner</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing</li><li>Assured & Associates is an Equal Employment Opportunity Provider.</li><li>Submit resume with phone number for consideration</li></ul>Assured & Associates is an Equal Employment Opportunity Provider.Submit resume with phone number for considerationPowered by JazzHR
