Performs all route delivery duties per company guidelines and safety regulations including pre/post trip, inspection of load and freight, adherence to delivery windows, ensures accuracy of customer delivery, utilizes equipment as prescribed, collects cash/check if required, completes returns and driver-check in process and performs necessary housekeeping to ensure cleanliness of tractor and trailer. Ensures accurate completion of all delivery and driver-related paperwork including invoices, cash receipts, collection register, trip reports, fuel tickets, deposit slips, DOT logs, Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR), driver qualification files and accident reporting.
