Follows sound correctional and transportation industry practices.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: <ul><li>Responsible for the safe and orderly operation of the assigned trip in a manner that promotes public safety, staff safety and the secure and humane environment for inmates, detainees and/or residents.</li><li>If qualified, may be assigned as the Assistant Officer in Charge (AOIC) on trip activity unless otherwise directed by their supervisor.</li><li>Monitor and supervise inmate, detainee, and/or resident activity per TCA policy. This includes listening to complaints and effectively resolving disputes or problems, taking corrective action, protecting inmate, detainee and residents rights, and completing all required documentation in accordance with TCA policy.</li><li>Follow sound safety practices and ensure that any injuries or accidents are reported in a timely and accurate manner per TCA policy. Take appropriate action in cases of serious or unusual incidents and emergencies circumstances.</li><li>Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and briefings as required. Maintain and promote effective communications and the proper flow of relevant information to management and fellow team members.</li><li>Maintain communication with Trip Management throughout the routed trip. Consult with Trip Management and/or Field Office Supervisor personnel in assessing situations and making decisions. Will not deviate from planned trip route unless cleared and/or directed by proper TCA authorities.</li><li>Complete preventive maintenance of equipment and ensure readiness of restraints, weapons, OIC kits, vehicles, etc.</li><li>Ensure effective management and control of resources to include inmate/detainee and/or resident medications and property.</li><li>Maintain appropriate relationships and communications when dealing with fellow staff members, all customer agencies and inmates, detainees and/or residents.</li><li>Application of restraints and the Use of Force will be strictly followed according to TCA policies and customer contract requirements.</li><li>Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.</li><li>Must achieve and maintain Officer in Charge (OIC) certification to be eligible for assignment as an OIC.</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li style="list-style-type:none"><ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Willing to work flexible hours</li><li>Must be 21 or older  </li><li>Must live within 90 miles of the facility</li><li>Please note: you MUST get a CDL Class B Permit or missing endorsement permit and Med Cert (DOT Physical) before you are guaranteed a spot in the Pre-Service Academy</li><li>Prefer a valid Class A or B driver's license with airbrake and passenger endorsements OR CDL Class A or B and willing to get airbrake and passenger endorsements</li><li>Prefer Corrections, Military, Law Enforcement, Security or related experience</li></ul></li></ul><ul></ul>TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>Must be willing to travel to Nashville, TN for a 3 week paid training program (with per diem)</li><li>Annual recertification and in-service training</li></ul>

The Senior Logistics Manager will lead and oversee the entire logistics and supply chain operations within the organization, ensuring efficient and cost-effective movement of goods and services. This role is pivotal in developing strategic plans to optimize transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes while maintaining compliance with industry regulations. The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, sales, and operations teams to align logistics strategies with overall business objectives. They will also be responsible for managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and reduce operational costs. Ultimately, the Senior Logistics Manager will drive operational excellence and support the company's growth by ensuring timely delivery and high customer satisfaction across all logistics functions. Minimum Qualifications: <ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.</li><li>At least 7 years of progressive experience in logistics or supply chain management roles.</li><li>Proven experience managing logistics teams and complex supply chain operations.</li><li>Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, warehousing, and inventory management.</li><li>Proficiency with logistics software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications: <ul><li>Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.</li><li>Certification such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Logistics Professional (CLP).</li><li>Experience working within the 'Other Services' industry sector or similar service-oriented environments.</li><li>Demonstrated success in leading digital transformation or automation projects in logistics.</li><li>Familiarity with sustainability practices and green logistics initiatives.</li></ul> Responsibilities: <ul><li>Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.</li><li>Manage day-to-day logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution.</li><li>Lead and mentor a team of logistics coordinators and supervisors to achieve performance targets.</li><li>Negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships with carriers, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers.</li><li>Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare detailed reports to inform senior leadership decisions.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to transportation and logistics.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan inventory levels accordingly.</li><li>Identify and implement process improvements and technology solutions to enhance logistics operations.</li></ul> Skills: The Senior Logistics Manager will utilize strong analytical and strategic planning skills daily to optimize supply chain processes and reduce costs.
