The Role
The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) representing VPI Quality Windows is responsible for prospecting, developing, and maintaining key accounts within the specified region with the sole objective to ensure sales targets established for the region are met. Selling responsibilities involve being closely networked with major architect, general contractor, dealer, consultant, and development firms.The TSM is required to forecast, manage, and report sales pipeline activity on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. The territory covered in this role will span the states of Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Southwest & Eastern Washington. VPI Quality Windows solely focuses on large scale mid/high-rise developments in the multi-family, mixed-use, student housing, senior living, and hospitality sectors.Principle Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop and achieve sales forecast and expense budget.</li><li>Aggressively pursue and secure new sales opportunities.</li><li>Maintain and build strong business relationships both internally & externally.</li><li>Plan activities, manage accounts, manage contacts, identify and track opportunities, manage leads and communicate pertinent information both internally and externally.</li><li>Use CRM tools as provided to manage above activities.</li><li>Assist with dispute resolution & project management.</li><li>Present products and solutions to a wide variety of audiences within the value chain of new construction projects.</li><li>Provide continuing education and design assistance to architects.</li><li>Visit jobsites as necessary for product review, installation guidance, testing, & dispute resolution.</li></ul>Knowledge, Skills, Abilities<ul><li>Must have business development experience.</li><li>Demonstrate excellent communication and critical thinking skills.</li><li>Operate with high integrity, be productive under pressure, and execute hands-on tasks when needed.</li><li>Interpret construction plans, specs, and fabrication drawings.</li><li>Understand relevant building codes, standards & methods, and key performance metrics as it relates to the fenestration industry.</li><li>Must be able to efficiently prioritize and execute a constantly evolving list of tasks.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint, Salesforce, and pdf editing software such as Bluebeam.</li><li>Up to 50% travel.</li></ul>Education and Experience<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in business, construction, engineering, or other related fields preferred.</li><li>5+ years of experience in outside sales account management required</li><li>5+ years of experience in door and window / fenestration industry required</li></ul>About JELD-WEN Holding, Inc.JELD-WEN Holding, Inc.
