You will guide clients through a seamless design journey-building trust, uncovering needs, and delivering beautiful, functional spaces while driving luxury furniture and design sales.</p><hr/><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li>Create an inviting, low-pressure showroom experience that builds lasting client relationships</li><li>Consult with clients in-store and in-home to interpret lifestyle, aesthetic, and functional needs</li><li>Develop complete design solutions, including furniture, fabrics, finishes, lighting, rugs, window treatments, and accessories</li><li>Lead projects from initial concept through installation and final styling</li><li>Define project scope, timelines, and design fees aligned with client goals and budgets</li><li>Drive luxury furniture and design sales through confident product knowledge and storytelling</li><li>Prepare visual presentations, mood boards, samples, and space plans</li><li>Source and specify products from premium domestic and international vendors</li><li>Collaborate closely with internal support teams to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and client satisfaction</li><li>Stay current on industry trends, materials, and best practices in luxury interiors</li></ul><hr/><h3><strong>Skills & Experience</strong></h3><ul><li>Proven experience designing residential interiors (consultations, renovations, space planning, or new construction)</li><li>Demonstrated success exceeding sales goals in a luxury furniture showroom or high-end retail environment</li><li>Strong expertise in furniture layouts, color, lighting, materials, fabrics, and custom furnishings</li><li>Working knowledge of design software such as Floorplanner, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator, or similar programs</li><li>A polished, professional portfolio showcasing completed projects</li><li>Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills</li><li>Strong organizational and project management abilities</li></ul><hr/><h3><strong>Requirements</strong></h3><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in interior design or related field preferred, but not required</li><li>Ability and willingness to conduct in-home design consultations</li><li>Valid driver's license with reliable personal transportation</li><li>Availability to work weekends and select holidays (no evening hours)</li></ul><hr/><h3><strong>Why Norris</strong></h3><ul><li>Travel opportunities to High Point Market and vendor factories for training and inspiration</li><li>Collaborative, supportive team environment with experienced leadership</li><li>Incentive-based compensation with commissions paid on written sales</li><li>Bi-weekly draw, bonus opportunities, and comprehensive benefits</li><li>Top-performing designers earn six-figure incomes</li></ul><hr/><p>Please include a cover letter outlining your interest in the role and any relocation plans if you currently reside outside the Naples, Florida area.</p><p><em>Norris Furniture & Interiors is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer</em></p>
