You will preparing patients for procedures: Includes checking and verifying vital signs, meds, NPO status, lab results, and medical history Your role involves inserting and removing intravenous lines, as well as administering conscious sedation drugs and other drugs You will monitoring patient patterns and vital signs during the procedure You will oversee the safety and comfort of patients before, during, and after procedures Your role will provide post-procedure monitoring: Includes observing for signs and symptoms of complications, such as bleeding from the puncture site, pain, and/or changes in mental status or vital signs What qualifications you will need: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing Current Colorado Registered Nurse License with current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross 2-3 years of experience in a specialty unit (Critical Care, ED, PACU, or Radiology) or IR experience REQUIREDMust be able to function independently, be multi-task oriented, and show excellent prioritizing skills Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date(RN) Registered NurseRegistered Nurse Diploma, or Bachelors Degree No Travel Required Benefits HCA HealthONE Aurora, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
