Demonstrates a professional and caring manner.Responsibilities: <ul><li> Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders. </li><li> Assisting the physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants in giving superior medical care. </li><li> Accurate Data Entry of charges on patient accounts, registering patients, and updating patient accounts. </li><li> Insurance Verification and recording of Statistics. </li><li> Assist with scheduling patient appointments, answering phones, keeping providers informed of changes, and informing patients of their benefits. </li><li> Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Job Requirements: Education/Skills<ul><li> High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred. </li></ul>Experience<ul><li> 1 year of medical office experience preferred. </li></ul>Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications<ul><li> Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification is required. </li><li> BLS required.</li></ul> Work Schedule: 8AM - 5PM Monday-FridayWork Type: Per Diem As Needed
