JOB SUMMARYThis position enters data, reviews, and verifies documents for mortgage loan files. In this function, you will work directly with members, mortgage originators, mortgage processors and mortgage underwriters.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS May include any and/or all of the following:<ol><li>Greet and Communicate with walk-in mortgage members.</li><li>Receive loan applications, greet members, answer telephone & IM’s, make appointments, and answer member inquiries regarding mortgage loans.</li><li>Support the team in following up on leads and ensuring necessary communication is completed timely and efficiently.</li><li>Support the team in data entry, calculations, document collection and verification.</li><li>Prepare TRID disclosures</li><li>Order Necessary documents to ensure timely processing of a loan file. To include, but not limited to appraisals, title work, surveys and any other necessary documents or orders needed. </li><li>Run vendor compliance against loan configuration</li><li>Review and submit all active appraisals and appraisal invoices</li><li>Assist with Monitoring all active escrow files including issuing payment, ordering inspections and all duties surrounding these loans. </li><li>Assist with tracking all open construction files and their progress, while completing necessary draws, draw inspections, survey orders and final appraisal.</li><li>Stay abreast of required regulations, compliance and investor guidelines</li><li>Detailed knowledge of Regulation B, Z and X (TRID).</li><li>Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.</li></ol>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS<ul><li>Knowledge of:<ul><li><ul style="list-style-type:square"><li>Mortgage Lending function</li><li>Modern office equipment</li><li>Credit Union products and services</li><li>Credit Union operations, procedures, and systems</li><li>Technology and various software programs including Mortgage Loan Systems, Symitar, Microsoft Word, Excel, Visa</li></ul></li></ul></li><li>Ability to:<ul><li><ul style="list-style-type:square"><li>Educate effectively on processes</li><li>Overcome objections</li><li>Read and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form</li><li>Organize and prioritize in order to meet deadlines</li><li>Solve practical problems and deal with variablesin situations </li></ul></li></ul></li><li>Skill in:<ul><li><ul style="list-style-type:square"><li>Strong verbal and written communication</li><li>Strong attention to detail and analytical skills</li><li>Interpersonal and human relations</li><li>Typing and personal computer</li></ul></li></ul></li></ul>QUALIFICATIONSCritical Development Experiences:Pursue opportunities for professional growth and development through training, education and self-studySuccessfully complete all applicable compliance training and testingParticipate in webinars provided by Freddie Mac, ARCH, and MGICEducation and experience equivalent to:Experience with various types of mortgage loans, escrow and ARM requirements desirableA high school degree or equivalentREQUIREMENTSRegular attendance and timeliness are essential functions of this position.
