Responsibilities:
Job Duties: <ul><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Provides customer service and problem resolution to assigned facilities</li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Responsible for accurate data entry of patient profiles and medications</li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Maintaining accurate information for patients and facilities</li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Responsible for billing and crediting each facility appropriately and accurately each month</li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Maintain and keep reasonable production as determined by supervisor</li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">May be required to travel to individual homes for meetings or drug exchanges</li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">May assist in orienting and training new employees</li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs</li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul>

Qualifications:

Heartland Women's Healthcare, an Advantia Health partner, is GROWING and looking to add a Phlebotomist (PRN) to our clinical and laboratory team! The successful candidates will communicate clearly and frequently with our team to ensure the highest level of care for our obstetrical and gynecological patients. The Phlebotomist will work out of both our Mt. Vernon and Centralia locations on an as needed basis. The hours for the position would be Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.Job Responsibilities: <ul><li>Collect all types of laboratory specimens and reports as required by laboratory and clinic procedures and protocols. </li><li>Administer oral solutions according to established training (this includes, but not limited to: Glucola for glucose tolerance testing). </li><li>Ensures that patient identification information matches test request information consistently. </li><li>Process specimens including labeling, centrifugation, aliquoting, freezing, referral and preparing for transport as required by test order, laboratory procedure and laboratory protocol. </li><li>Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner. </li><li>Process billing and insurance information. </li><li>Maintain patient and specimen information logs. </li><li>Provide superior customer service to all patients and clinic personnel. </li><li>Assists with the proper storage of hazardous materials, including monitoring and organizing reagent/supplies inventory. </li><li>Perform all non-patient facing duties, including inventory, stock supplies, sanitization, filing, and answering phone calls. </li><li>Maintain all appropriate phlebotomy logs in a timely manner, such as maintenance logs and temperature logs. </li><li>Maintain personal skill competencies and assures education needs are met to comply with licensing and accrediting standards and regulations. </li><li>Read, understand, and comply with company, laboratory and clinic policies, protocols, and procedures. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li><li>Travel to additional sites when needed. </li></ul>Qualifications: <ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Phlebotomy certification. </li><li>1 year of phlebotomy experience. </li><li>Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. </li><li>Customer service experience preferred. </li><li>Ability to draw blood utilizing sterile needles, vacutainer tubes, and other collection containers. </li><li>Good written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail. </li><li>Ability to work independently. </li><li>Excellent competency with computer navigation and data entry. </li></ul>Benefits & Compensation: <ul><li>Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance </li><li>Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Savings Account (FSA) Option </li><li>401k Retirement Plan + company provided match after 1 year of employment </li><li>Life and Disability Insurances </li><li>Paid holidays & PTO </li><li>Compensation Range: $17.00-$20.00/hr <ul><li>Please note compensation is based on years of experience.
