This information will be used to help determine which applicants will advance to the interview phase of the recruitment and selection process: Experience conducting harvest (fish, game, etc.) related surveys and/or collecting other types of information from the public in person and/or over the telephone; Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills and the ability to keep accurate daily records (field notes, travel expense reports) over an extended period; Experience working in the Yukon Area or on other large river systems involving a salmon or non-salmon fishery; Experience working independently on a project in a remote field location for an extended period and; Experience using iOS devices (cellular phones and tablets) for data entry and communication, and personal computers and Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, and Teams) for word processing, data entry, and communication. We are looking for applicants who are friendly, open and detail oriented who can handle a high degree of independent decision making and deal with frequent schedule changes, working on weekends, weather delays and diverse lodging and work environments.
