This is a hands-on, rewarding role where your leadership directly shapes the customer experience and team success.</p><br/><p><strong>WHAT WE OFFER:</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive pay, based on experience</li><li>Health</li><li>Dental</li><li>Vision</li><li>Paid vacation and holidays</li><li>401(k) with employer match</li></ul><br/><p><strong>YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS OUR ASSISTANT BRANCH MANAGER</strong></p><ul><li>Supervise daily branch operations-opening/closing, ensuring the facility is clean, safe, and orderly.</li><li>Select, train, coach, and evaluate team members to boost productivity and performance.</li><li>Deliver excellent customer service, handle complaints, and build strong relationships with internal/external customers.</li><li>Assist the Branch Manager in rolling out new procedures, quality initiatives, policies, and training-and ensure goals are met.</li><li>Manage and monitor inventory levels; ensure adequate stock, and assist with product order and delivery processes.</li><li>Ensure operations comply with federal, state, and company policies and safety regulations.</li><li>Assist with budgets, financial reports, and monitor daily activities that impact operations.</li><li>Serve as a point of contact with other departments (Quality, Sales, Human Resources, etc.).</li><li>Ensure delivery of products to internal and external customers.</li><li>Promote a sense-of-urgency culture and disciplined adherence to support quality, delivery, and profitability.</li><li>Embrace continuous improvement and empower team members to achieve company goals.</li><li>Oversee order assembly, prepare goods for shipment, and record shipment data.</li><li>Handle data entry and database management.</li><li>Be responsible, directly or indirectly, for procuring materials, supplies, and items necessary for daily operations.</li><li>Achieve and exceed production goals.</li><li>Participate in training and lead by example (quality standards, safety practices, individual development, compliance).</li><li>Assist with hose assembly and follow all required safety practices, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).</li></ul><br/><p><strong>YOUR SCHEDULE</strong></p><ul><li>Monday - Friday, 7:00 am-3:30 pm and overtime as needed</li></ul><br/><p><strong>REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><ul><li>21+ years of age</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>1+ years in a leadership position</li><li>Valid driver's license and a clean driving record</li><li>Basic math capability (add, subtract, multiply, divide) and the ability to use a tape measure</li><li>Ability to lift up to 65 lbs (team lift)</li><li>Basic computer skills for data entry; ability to type 25+ wpm</li><li>Advanced business degree and/or 2+ years' industrial assembly experience (<strong>plus</strong>)</li><li>Manufacturing knowledge, including fluid power and industrial sales (<strong>bonus</strong>)</li><li>Forklift driver certified (<strong>plus</strong>) - WE WILL PROVIDE TRAINING AS NEEDED</li></ul><br/><p><strong>ABOUT OUR TEAM: VALUE ADDED DISTRIBUTORS, LLC.</strong></p><p>At Value Added Distributors, LLC, we are not just an applied industrial distributor but a company that builds careers, relationships, and futures.
