While performing the functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear; and frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, taste, or smell; occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance. Under the general supervision of the Civil Construction & ROW Manager, the Civil Construction Inspector will be responsible for the inspection of public improvement construction including streets, water, sewer, sidewalks, and drainage for compliance with local, state, and federal code, regulations, and specifications.
