Registered or registry eligible in Sonography by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), shall have a minimum of two (2) years of work experience in the specialized modality in a Level 1 hospital setting, and shall be able to work with minimal or no supervisionNote - Student internship and training time spent in a radiology setting does not count toward the two (2) years of experience. Prepares and administers contrast material orally, by enema, or under close supervision of radiologists, intravenously but not independently; as required by procedure or patient’s condition, monitors vital signs (blood pressure and heart rate), and reports any significant changes to a radiologist.
