Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Showcase your culinary finesse on the grill, cooking burgers and other menu items to perfection.</li><li>Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate preparation of orders, maintaining our commitment to quality and presentation.</li><li>Keep your work station clean, organized, and stocked with fresh ingredients to deliver consistently excellent dishes.</li><li>Embrace the excitement of a fast-paced kitchen, contributing to a positive and energetic atmosphere.</li><li>Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation standards, ensuring a safe dining experience for our guests.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>A minimum of 6 months experience as a grill cook</li><li>Able to follow recipes and instructions, including making conversions</li><li>Knowledge of food safety, sanitation and proper handling procedures</li><li>Able to work calmly and effectively under pressure</li><li>Ability to communicate clearly in a noisy kitchen environment.</li></ul>Physical Requirements:<ul style="margin-top: 0in;"><li>Cooking experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred.</li><li>Able to read documents and written instructions to understand sanitation requirements, safety rules, equipment operation and maintenance, policies, and standard operating procedures.</li><li>Certification in food safety and sanitation is a plus.</li><li>Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends and holidays.</li><li>Stand for extended periods of time and navigate occasional wet or greasy floor conditions.</li><li>Lift and carry up to 50 lbs (food product cases, bulk ingredients, kitchen equipment).</li><li>Work in a hot, humid, and fast-paced environment.</li><li>Bend, stoop, and reach frequently.</li><li>Operate kitchen equipment safely.</li></ul>Who We Are: Coahoma Community College, located in Clarksdale, Mississippi, is a vibrant two-year public institution dedicated to academic excellence, workforce readiness, and community uplift.
