The mission of the PGY1 Walgreens Community-Based Pharmacy Residency Program is to provide postgraduate training that enables residents to achieve their professional goals, become a leader within the profession, provide compassionate care for members of their communities and contribute to the Walgreen Company's advancement in health care. Our recent graduates will have developed the clinical, analytical and leadership skills necessary to function as a clinical practitioner in a community pharmacy, ambulatory care setting, or pursue a PGY2 residency.
