This position plays a critical role in advancing MWVCAA's mission to alleviate poverty and build self-sufficiency by coordinating advisory councils, supporting regional planning, and conducting community needs assessments that guide program development and service delivery.  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE <ul><li style="text-align:left;line-height:105%">A Bachelor's degree in Administration, Social Services, or a related field. </li><li style="text-align:left;line-height:105%">Two years of experience in administration or program management/coordination </li><li style="text-align:left;line-height:105%">A preference will be given to those with shelter experience, and experience managing/coordinating programs working with vulnerable or at-risk populations, including people experiencing homelessness or at-risk of homelessness.</li><li style="text-align:left;line-height:105%">Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. </li></ul>CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS <ul><li style="text-align:left;line-height:105%">Driver qualifications are required for this position. Valid driver license, insured vehicle available for use on the job, and a satisfactory drive record for the previous three years are required. </li><li style="text-align:left;line-height:105%">Candidate must pass a comprehensive MWVCAA background screening prior to employment.</li><li style="text-align:left;line-height:105%">Candidate must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings. </li></ul>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES<ul><li style="text-align:left;line-height:105%">Demonstrated ability to plan, manage time and remain highly organized. </li><li style="text-align:left;line-height:105%">Possesses highly effective interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with diverse groups orally and in writing.</li><li style="text-align:left;line-height:105%">Ability to remain flexible and adaptable in the presence of changing requirements and program needs. </li><li style="text-align:left;line-height:105%">Possess intermediate to advanced computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, database software, online tools, and video conference platforms. </li><li style="text-align:left;line-height:105%">Experience facilitating advisory groups or stakeholder processes</li><li style="text-align:left;line-height:105%">Knowledge of housing, homelessness, or family support systems preferred</li><li style="text-align:left;line-height:105%">Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills</li></ul> ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIESThis job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employee will also perform other reasonably related business duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.<ul><li style="text-align:left;line-height:105%">Lead Housing & Homeless Advisory Council and Keeping Families Together Advisory Council</li><li style="text-align:left;line-height:105%">Plan and facilitate community meetings, advisory boards, and partner convenings</li><li style="text-align:left;line-height:105%">Ensure MWVCAA participation in support of community partner presentations </li><li style="text-align:left;line-height:105%">Support implementation of initiatives such as KFT through coordination and alignment with program goals</li><li style="text-align:left;line-height:105%">Serve as key point of contact for multi-sector partners</li><li style="text-align:left;line-height:105%">Maintain relationships with provider networks and community stakeholders</li><li style="text-align:left;line-height:105%">Lead community needs assessments using qualitative and quantitative data</li><li style="text-align:left;line-height:105%">Support regional planning and strategy development</li><li style="text-align:left;line-height:105%">Produce reports to guide funding and program design</li><li style="text-align:left;line-height:105%">Track engagement outcomes and program impact</li><li style="text-align:left;line-height:105%">Use data to inform decision-making and improve systems</li><li style="text-align:left;line-height:105%">Support reporting and evaluation efforts</li><li style="text-align:left;line-height:105%">Recommend program enhancements based on findings</li></ul>OTHER<ul><li>Consistent punctuality and reliable attendance are essential requirements for this role.</li><li>Ability to work effectively and maintain positive, professional relationships with team members and clients.</li></ul>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Directly supervises approximately 1-5 employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities for this position include interviewing, hiring, and training employees, as well as planning, assigning, and directing their work and appraising their performance.
