The VDC Coordinator will work closely with engineering, project management, and construction teams to ensure models accurately reflect design intent and construction phase sequencing.</div><div> </div><div>This position plays a key role in bridging engineering and field construction through BIM-driven workflows and model-based coordination.</div>

What You'll Do:
<ul><li>Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for high-voltage substation projects</li><li>Aggregate and coordinate multidisciplinary models for constructability and sequencing</li><li>Support clash detection and coordination reviews</li><li>Participate in recurring construction planning and coordination meetings</li><li>Update models to reflect construction phasing and schedule adjustments throughout the construction cycle</li><li>Support constructability reviews and identify potential installation conflicts prior to field execution</li><li>Coordinate with engineers, designers, project managers, and construction teams to ensure model accuracy</li><li>Maintain model alignment with Issued for Construction (IFC) documentation and field revisions</li><li>Assist in establishing and improving VDC workflows and modeling standards for IDC projects</li></ul>

What You'll Bring:
<ul><li>Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Drafting/Design, or related field (or equivalent experience)</li><li>2–5 years of experience in 3D modeling within a BIM or construction-focused environment</li><li>Understanding of model coordination and construction planning workflows</li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering and construction teams</li><li>Ability to manage multiple active project models simultaneously</li></ul><div>Preferred Qualifications</div><ul><li>Experience with Autodesk Inventor, Revit, and Navisworks</li><li>Substation design or construction experience</li><li>Familiarity with high-voltage substation layouts and equipment</li><li>Experience supporting EPC or utility infrastructure projects</li><li>Experience working in Integrated Design & Construction (IDC) or design-build environments</li><li>Experience maintaining BIM models throughout active construction phases</li></ul><div>Working Conditions</div><ul><li>Regular coordination with engineering and construction teams</li><li>Occasional travel to project sites or other offices may be required based on project needs</li></ul>
