Job Summary:
<p style="margin:0px">Morley Moss, Inc. in Sunnyvale, TX is looking for an Assistant Project Coordinator to join our Virtual Design and Construction Department. </p><p style="margin:0px"> </p><p style="margin:0px">The Assistant Project Coordinator is involved in the strategy, process, modeling, and coordination of projects being prepared for prefabrication. This person has a basic knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) computer applications and 3D design. The Assistant Project Coordinator maintains contact with the VDC Coordinator and Prefab Shop Leaders. Additionally, the PC Assistant would be able to run a small to mid-size project with senior oversight, ensuring the project aligns with the strategic goals and quality standards of the organization.</p><p style="margin:0px"> </p><p style="margin:0px">The Assistant Project Coordinator reports to the Project Coordinator, who is directly overseen by the Senior VDC Manager. </p>

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
<ul><li><strong>Project Planning assistance: </strong>Helping to develop strategies and plans for implementing VDC processes throughout the project lifecycle when needed.</li><li><strong>Risk Management:</strong> Identifying potential risks and conflicts and developing mitigation strategies to address them before they become problems.</li><li><strong>Project coordinator performance observation:</strong> Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of project coordinators and making recommendations for improvements based on lessons learned from previous projects.</li><li><strong>Ensure Process Standardization:</strong> Ensuring the established standardized workflows and protocols are being used.</li><li><strong>High level personnel management: </strong>Project coordinators should be empowered to run their projects autonomously within established parameters, while also having the freedom to execute tasks in their preferred manner. The Senior Project Coordinator assumes the responsibility of guiding Project Coordinators through the processes outlined in departmental standards, with the aim of supporting them in setting and achieving project deliverable milestones, rather than dictating them.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li>Working experience with Revit software</li><li>Associate's degree in computer Drafting or Construction Management</li><li>Field experience in the construction trade </li><li>Electrical construction experience a plus\</li></ul><p style="margin:12pt 0in 12pt 0in"><strong>Tools used:</strong></p><ul><li>Bluebeam</li><li>Revit</li><li>Google sheets</li><li>Project coordination SOPs</li><li>Project Tracking documents (schedules, drawing trackers)</li><li>Constraints log</li><li>Smartsheet Dashboard</li></ul><p style="margin:0px"> </p><p style="margin:0px"><strong>Language Skills</strong></p><p style="margin:0px">Must have the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in English, cooperate, and collaborate with multiple levels of management.</p>
