Plans and coordinates volunteer service placements and changes of assignments; establishes schedules and assignments for volunteers.</li><li>Assists, co-leads or supports the planning and coordination of new volunteer opportunities, programs, and projects for Volunteer Services. • Previous volunteer coordination work experience.
• Project management experience.
• Demonstrated experience as a volunteer.
• Volunteer coordination in a hospital/healthcare setting preferred.
• Volunteer and/or employee supervisory experience.
• Recruitment, training and development experience.
• Personnel record maintenance and information processing.License(s)/Certification(s):Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.CAVS – Certified Administrator of Volunteer ServicesKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Exceptional organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and demonstrated computer literacy.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire, engage and train volunteers and staff.
• Demonstrated understanding of volunteer demographics and intergenerational dynamics, preferred communication, recognition needs and motivations of the current multigenerational workforce.
• Strong vision for growth and development of Volunteer Services.
• Excellent time management skills.
