This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and supporting mission-driven community work through a food insecurity and equity-informed lens. Essential Functions:  <ul><li>Coordinate and schedule individual, group, and corporate volunteers across Sharing the Harvest Community Farm and the Full Plate Project</li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for volunteer inquiries and ongoing communication</li><li>Manage volunteer sign-ups, calendars, tracking systems, and basic reporting</li><li>Support volunteer recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and appreciation efforts</li><li>Track volunteer hours and participation to support grants, reporting, and internal metrics</li><li>Collaborate with program staff to align volunteer activities with program capacity and seasonal needs</li><li>Maintain organized volunteer records and contact lists</li><li>Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and dignity-centered volunteer experience grounded in an understanding of food insecurity</li><li>Apply a food insecurity lens to volunteer engagement, ensuring respectful, community-centered service delivery</li><li>Demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills in a seasonal work environment</li><li>Work effectively with diverse populations, community partners, and volunteers of varying experience levels</li><li>Utilize email, spreadsheets, and scheduling tools to support daily operations</li><li>Uphold and model YMCA values of social responsibility, healthy living, and community impact</li></ul>Trainings and Certifications: <ul><li>CPR/First Aid/AED certification (or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe)</li><li>Food safety or food handling training (or willingness to complete)</li><li>Completion of YMCA-required online trainings prior to the start of the position, including:<ul><li>New Employee Orientation</li><li>Child Abuse Prevention</li><li>Mandated Reporter</li><li>Bloodborne Pathogens</li><li>Hazard Communication</li><li>Employee Safety</li></ul></li><li>Additional training related to volunteer management, food insecurity, or community engagement preferred</li></ul>Work Environment: <ul><li>Combination of office-based administrative work and on-site program support</li><li>Seasonal variability in hours, with peak demand April–October</li><li>Occasional evenings or weekends for group volunteer days or events</li><li>Outdoor work in farm or food distribution settings during volunteer shifts</li></ul>YMCA Competencies: YMCA Competencies: Mission and Community Oriented: Accepts and demonstrates YMCA values.  Works effectively with people of different backgrounds, abilities, opinions and perceptions. GENERAL SUMMARYThe Project Manager will be responsible for allocating the right personnel, processes, and resources to ensure team effectiveness and efficiency. The position will work collaboratively with business line leaders to motivate project teams and determine the best operational approach to reach a desired outcome. Manages multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment as well as adapts to project scope changes by placing emphasis on project team involvement and effective communication. Creates and monitors project timelines, ensures that goals are met, resolves any technical issues, and creates progress reports to share with key internal and external stakeholders. Works closely with Sr. Project Manager to escalate issues of concern, which can include project resources, timelines, and engagement to ensure the success of the organization's initiatives. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES (in descending order of importance and should be no more than 10, if possible)<ol><li style="text-align:justify">Plans, organizes, and directs the completion of assigned projects ensuring an effective outcome. </li><li style="text-align:justify">Assists internal business partners with requirements gathering process for beginning a new project. </li><li style="text-align:justify">Conducts and coordinates internal and external meetings with key stakeholders to achieve desired project outcomes. </li><li style="text-align:justify">Takes ownership of all tracking and reporting for assigned projects and initiatives. </li><li style="text-align:justify">Ensures the Credit Union's project methodology is followed for key organizational and department projects, including creation and approval of project form, timely completion of assigned tasks within Project Management tool, formal business case and vendor due diligence requirements when necessary. </li><li style="text-align:justify">Establishes and builds relationships across the Navigant business lines to facilitate achievement throughout project lifecycles. </li><li style="text-align:justify">Guides, mentors, encourages, and directs project team members, while holding team accountable for deliverables, and inspiring them to take ownership and responsibility for their assigned tasks and deliverables.</li><li style="text-align:justify">Performs all other duties as assigned by the Sr. Project Manager or FVP, Core & Digital Banking. </li></ol> QUALIFICATIONS:EducationBA/BS in computer science, programming, business or related field preferred. 5+ years' proven experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.Experience/Skills/Knowledge:<ol><li style="text-align:justify"> 3+ years' project management experience required. </li><li style="text-align:justify"> Strong planning and analytical skills required. </li><li style="text-align:justify"> Experience with project tracking software preferred. </li><li style="text-align:justify"> Proven experience with agile methodologies and change control processes required. </li><li style="text-align:justify"> Must be a strategic thinker who is an advocate of continuous improvement. </li><li style="text-align:justify"> Strong member service orientation required in alignment with the credit union's mission and core values. </li><li style="text-align:justify"> Must be able to motivate a team, recognize good talent and bring out the best of each member. </li><li style="text-align:justify"> Must have strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and product vendors. </li><li style="text-align:justify"> Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to execute projects on time and on budget required. </li><li style="text-align:justify"> Must have the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision </li><li style="text-align:justify"> Must have the ability to adapt quickly and be flexible with continual changes in projects, product iterations and teams. </li><li style="text-align:justify"> Must be PC proficient, including Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Teams) and the Internet. </li></ol> AboutPeople helping people is what makes Navigant Credit Union truly special.
