Whether you’re just starting your career or bringing years of expertise, you’ll find a place at EVstudio to innovate, grow, and make an impact.What You’ll Do:EVstudio is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to anchor our Boise or Colorado Springs team. This is a high-impact role for a licensed engineer who’s ready to take ownership of technical excellence, grow a Boise-based team, and collaborate across disciplines within a dynamic and integrated design firm. As the senior-most MEP professional in our Boise office, you’ll be shaping project delivery, guiding junior staff, and collaborating closely with our architecture, civil, and structural teams.<ul><li>Lead MEP design and project management for commercial, residential, municipal, multi-family, and mixed-use projects</li><li>Serve as the technical lead on MEP systems designs, including HVAC and plumbing</li><li>Oversee and review calculations, drawings, and construction documents</li><li>Mentor and supervise mechanical EITs and junior engineers</li><li>Coordinate with architects and other in-house disciplines for integrated project delivery</li><li>Contribute to QA/QC processes and the development of internal design standards</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering</li><li>PE license required (Idaho or ability to obtain quickly)</li><li>7+ years of experience in MEP engineering, with a strong design portfolio</li><li>Proficiency in MEP design software, primarily Revit</li><li>Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills</li><li>Commitment to quality design, team mentorship, and client satisfaction</li></ul>What We Offer:We are targeting a base salary of $110,000 to $150,000, but this is determined by several factors, including education, experience, and a history of working in the Boise metro area.<ul><li>Medical insurance, including an HSA option</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Vision insurance</li><li>Employer-paid life insurance</li><li>STD & LTD</li><li>A minimum of 15 days PTO, and higher for more experienced employees</li><li>Accident insurance</li><li>401k match of 4%</li><li>One full day of paid VTO (Volunteer Time Off) annually</li><li>Roth 401K option</li><li>Annual company ski day and summer picnic</li><li>Flexible hours</li><li>In many cases, our roles can be worked in a hybrid capacity</li><li>Monthly employee celebrations (with free lunch!)</li><li>The opportunity to touch every aspect of a project, from beginning to end</li><li>Free snacks</li><li>Weekly volleyball league in the Summer and bowling in the Winter</li><li>Company-owned bar in the parking lot of the Denver office</li><li>Relaxed dress code</li><li>Entrepreneurial mindset – If you have an idea, we want you to pursue it!</li></ul>Our Hiring Process:EVstudio prides itself on being efficient in its hiring process.
