Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Execute and enforce safety standards, processes, and procedures ensuring project site is kept clean and organized. Conduct weekly safety inspections and monthly safety audits. </li><li>Enforce quality standards, processes and procedures; conduct quality control audits.</li><li>Determine, follow, and promote construction requirements, processes, and procedures.</li><li>Assist in managing contractual requirements and identify opportunities for improvement.</li><li>Maintain construction documents, review and coordinate shop drawings and submittals.</li><li>Read specifications such as blueprints to determine construction requirements and to plan procedures.</li><li>Inspect work progress and construction sites to ensure specifications are met.</li><li>Anticipate and identify project issues and risks, proactively communicate identified project issues and risks, presenting solutions and conferring with project team to resolve problems.</li><li>Initiate, review, and negotiate change orders.</li><li>Assist and plan all construction operations and schedules to ensure deadlines will be met.</li><li>Assist in maintaining completed, thorough daily logs that include production and detailed areas of work.</li><li>Identify new construction products/practices and recommend methods, materials, and layouts to reduce construction costs based on design needs/capabilities.</li><li>Assist in close-out process including creation and completion of punch list, complete building turnover, existing utility coordination, AHJ closeout, demobilizing all resources, and successfully transitioning the project to the client.</li><li>Maintain positive client relationships to leverage future repeat business.</li></ul>Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
<ul><li>0-3 years’ experience or engineering/construction management degree. </li><li>Knowledge of construction principles/practices required; finish carpentry experience is preferred.</li><li>Proven experience implementing safety protocols on construction sites ensuring a secure work environment for project team. </li><li>Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedules.</li><li>Must be a motivated and driven individual with proven history to effectively facilitate the completion of subcontracted work.</li><li>Ability to understand and solve complex challenges to present alternative solutions.</li><li>Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.</li><li>Proficiency with computer applications including Procore, P6, and Microsoft Office.</li></ul>Working Conditions: <ul><li>Work is primarily performed outdoors in various weather conditions with exposure to health or safety hazards, including noise level ranging from moderate to loud.</li><li>Physical effort is required, including the ability to walk the job site, climb ladders and scaffolding, lift loads up to 50 lbs., perform hands-on work when necessary.</li><li>While performing the essential functions of this position, the individual will use hands to handle, control or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; bend, kneel, crouch and/or crawl.</li><li>Individual work location will change or vary and/or position may require travel.</li><li>Environment will be demanding and fast paced; number of hours typically worked in a workweek may exceed 40 hours per week.</li></ul> At Brinkmann Constructors, our passion for people means investing in their financial, mental, and physical well-being.
