Develop understanding of Delta Faucet products and development processes • Assist design, specification, and implementation of product development projects • Support product development engineers in detailed product design, assembly, and testing • Assist product engineers with production part approval, implementation of product changes, and evaluation of non-conforming products • Complete training and use of CREO solid modeling tools in support of faucet component and assembly design and modifications • Participate in brainstorming meetings and idea creation events to conceptualize products to meet customer and market needs • Complete training and use of engineering test equipment in support of product evaluations per internal and external product specifications, requirements, and plumbing codes • Participate as a member of cross-functional product development teams • Analyze product reliability through coordination of environmental, performance, and accelerated life cycle testing • Assume responsibility for product development activities from concept creation to design verification, tooling phase, model validation testing, and product launch.
