The incumbent will be part of/work with a multidisciplinary workforce comprised of both civilian and military professionals from a variety of fields, including but not limited to, engineers, planners, real property managers, other technicians, financial managers, and support staff executing programs, projects, and activities of regional scope as well as assisting on initiatives of a national scope. "Newly appointed" refers to the first appointment (regardless of tenure) as an employee of the Federal Government, an appointment following a break in service of at least 90 days from a previous appointment as an employee of the Federal Government, or, in certain cases, an appointment following a break in service of less than 90 days from a previous appointment as an employee of the Federal Government.
