Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Responsible for selecting, recruiting, training, interviewing, screening, assigning and coordinating patient volunteers. Documents ongoing efforts to recruit, train and retain volunteers of ages and ethnic backgrounds.</li><li>Establishes a need for volunteer services with the patient and family/caregiver and entire hospice team.</li><li>Arranges volunteers to provide volunteers services to hospice patient and family/caregiver in accordance with the plan of care. </li><li>Supervises volunteers in a timely and appropriate manner and evaluates performance on an annual basis.</li><li>Develops, grows, maintains and oversees an active volunteer network for the hospice for direct and in-direct patient care activities.</li><li>Monitors volunteer time logs, data entry, and patient documentation to ensure compliance, accuracy and timely submissions. </li></ul>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED required.</li><li>Minimum one (1) year experience as a Volunteer Coordinator in a health care setting preferred. Hospice experience is preferred.</li><li>Must be compassionate, organized, and excited to work in a fast-paced meaningful environment.</li><li>Ability to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends. </li><li>Must be computer proficient in typing and various programs, including background in EMR.</li><li>Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable transportation.</li></ul>$24.00 - $26.00 per hour (Average Pay Range). The pay range listed represents a general guideline for the role and is not a guarantee of the final offer. Compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s relevant experience and the specific responsibilities of the position. The Life Enrichment Manager is responsible for designing Life Skills to reflect each resident’s past interests and for providing them with encouragement, prompts, and hands on assistance. The Life Enrichment Manager is responsible for demonstrating the Mission for Sunrise, “To champion quality of life for all seniors” in the Reminiscence neighborhood in accordance with federal, state/provincial, and local laws, standards, and regulations, and Sunrise policies to promote the highest degree of quality care and services to our residents.

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS:

resident has an opportunity to engage in Life Skills or other life enrichment activities daily.</li><li>Review resident profile and the Individualized Service Plan (ISP) and spend time talking with apply the information by being responsible for implementing, leading, and motivating others in the appropriate Life Skill for the residents in partnership with the Reminiscence Coordinator (RC).</li><li>Organize small groups or clubs that address those similar needs and preferences in a small group/club setting using the resident’s demographic profile information.</li><li>Ensure that the Life Skill is included on the socialization and leisure activities section of the ISP.</li><li>Act as a role model and encourage other team members to engage in Life Skills with residents.</li><li>Assist residents to and from the Life Skills stations and other normalizing life enriching activities and routines.</li><li>Record and document resident participation according to Sunrise quality service standards.</li><li>Maintain and expand Life Skills stations and other life enriching programs and replenish supplies as needed.</li><li>Assist in maintaining an inventory of Life Skills programming supplies.</li><li>Assist residents with daily care of any animals and/or plants as part of the Life Skills program and services.</li></ul><h3>Resident Focus</h3><ul><li>Review, read, notate, and initial the Daily Log and Department Log to document and learn about pertinent information and any resident’s physical and behavioral/communication pattern changes as well as Life Skills information.</li><li>Review the ISP, Resident Profile, Demographic Profile, and Addendums for every new resident.</li><li>Give input on the Demographic Profile and ISP to ensure that each resident has a personalized Life Skill listed that reflects their past interests and reflects their current abilities.</li><li>Practice positive resident relations following our Sunrise Shared Values, respond to resident and family member requests, and direct resident and family member feedback to immediate supervisor.</li><li>Assist Reminiscence Coordinator (RC) to ensure each resident’s Memory Box is completed within two (2) weeks of move-in.</li><li>Maintain and protect the confidentiality of resident information.</li></ul><h3>Volunteer and Community Focus</h3><ul><li>Assists with and support local businesses, organizations, and schools in the development and retention of the community volunteer programs under the leadership of the (RC) and Activities & Volunteer Coordinator (AVC).</li><li>Assist with the volunteer orientations, volunteer training programs, and appropriate volunteer paperwork according to Sunrise standards.</li></ul><h3>Dining Service</h3><ul><li>Serve meals in the dining room.</li><li>Assist residents in Life Skills in the dining room during set up and clean up.</li></ul><h3>Risk Management and General Safety</h3><ul><li>Partner with community team
