Unlock your potential!<h5>Job Summary and Qualifications</h5><h6></h6><h6>The PPS Coordinator promotes high quality, patient-centered care by providing clinical support in the prompt, accurate completion of of the IRF Patient Assessment Instrument (IRF-PAI), to ensure accuracy in the scoring of functional status and reflection of the patient’s care needs. In collaboration with the care team, the PPS Coordinator also assists in the ongoing monitoring of identified benchmarks for the inpatient rehab population. The PPS Coordinator accesses confidential patient information and maintains confidentiality of all information. <ul><li>Oversees and ensures the accuracy and completion of the Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility-Patient Assessment Instrument (IRF-PAI) prior to electronic transmission within required time frames. </li><li>Maintains a current knowledge of IRF-PAI software and provides expertise on this software within the inpatient rehab setting. </li><li>Maintains updated and ongoing knowledge of the regulations concerning the IRF-PAI and its completion within the inpatient rehab setting. </li><li>Thoroughly researches and reviews clinical documentation and makes recommendations to clinical supervisors in areas needing improvement to support and validate rehab criteria and documentation compliance. </li><li>Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to capture accurate assessment of patient, including assessing patient treatment plans to facilitate achievement of expected outcomes. </li><li>Verifies appropriate CMG designation through chart review, staff interview, and collaboration with Rehab Medical Director. </li><li>Participates in ongoing education to the staff to ensure prompt, accurate completion of the IRF-PAI. </li><li>Audits IRF-PAI, clinical documentation, and billing information periodically to ensure accuracy and consistency. </li><li>Works closely and collaboratively with all members of the clinical team to ensure compliance at all levels. </li><li>Evaluates patterns of variances from standardized care plans, and recommends strategies to resolve individual and caseload issues. </li><li>Interacts with patient, family, staff, and physicians in a professional manner at all times, and handles patient, visitor, or physician complaints promptly and professionally. </li><li>Serves as a resource to department staff, students, volunteers, and other departments, and contributes to the teamwork essential to ensuring quality patient care. </li><li>Promotes participation, cooperation, and teamwork. Demonstrates problem solving in resolving issues. </li><li>Participates in internal chart reviews and external audit coordination as needed. </li></ul>What qualifications you will need:</h6><ul><li>Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date</li><li>2+ years experience in an acute hospital setting required </li><li>2+ years experience in inpatient rehabilitation preferred </li><li>Registered Nurse, or Occupational Therapy (OT), or Licensed Physical Therapist, or Speech Therapist</li></ul>Doctors Hospital of Augusta has provided quality healthcare services since 1973. Position Summary:The After School Counselor must enjoy working with elementary school aged children (Pre-K thru 5th). They are responsible for implementing activities, ensuring safety of all children in the program, serving after school snack, interacting with children and their families, working independently as well as with a team, and creating an enriching, fun, and safe environment. The candidate must have a positive attitude and serve as a role model to participants in the program. This position is ideal for someone who is looking to work a few hours in the afternoon. The ideal candidate is creative, child oriented, responsible, and dedicated.Status: Part-time Hourly- school year Only Supervision Exercised: Children in ProgramTypical Physical Demands: Requires, but is not limited to: Full range of body motion: aerobic endurance; lifting up to 50lbs and corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
