<p style="margin:0px">As a Utility Coordinator, you’ll review construction improvement plans to identify utility conflicts and collaborate with utility owners to resolve relocation issues, addressing cost and schedule impacts for transportation infrastructure projects.  You'll serve as the liaison between design teams, contractors, and utility providers, ensure timely and cost-effective utility coordination for large-scale infrastructure projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to mitigate utility conflicts, manage utility relocations to ensure project schedules remain on track, and work on innovative and community-impactful civil engineering projects. </p><p><em>What You'll Do:</em></p>:
<div class="ewa-rteLine">• Develop a utility conflict matrix to manage project activities.</div><div class="ewa-rteLine">• Collaborate with design engineers to minimize utility conflicts, including revising transportation improvement plans.</div><div class="ewa-rteLine">• Prepare agreements between utility companies and client partners.</div><div class="ewa-rteLine">• Develop utility correspondence logs for active projects and track utility correspondence due dates, downloads, and responses for major request items prior to scheduled due dates.</div><div class="ewa-rteLine">• Track and update project charts to ensure that utility relocations are on schedule and all dependent utilities are notified.</div><p><em>What You'll Need:</em></p>:
<div class="ewa-rteLine"><div>• Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Civil, Environmental or a related engineering discipline.</div><p style="margin:0px">• Working experience or at least exposure to Utility Coordination.</p><div>• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.</div><div>• Proficiency in MicroStation or ORD software.</div><div>• A valid driver's license with a good driving record.</div><div>• This job occasionally operates in outdoor work environments that may include exposure to inclement weather, heat, humidity, noise, hazard, atmospheric conditions, and bodies of water, depending on project requirements.</div><div>• While performing the duties of this job, physical demands of the employee may include frequent talking, hearing, standing, moving, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, balancing, coordination, and occasional sitting or operating a company vehicle. The Coordinator works with the parish Liturgy Committee to determine policies relating to the liturgical celebrations of the parish, and to plan the seasonal liturgical celebrations. The coordinator will also assist the Pastor with administrative assistant duties.</p><p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p><ul><li>Assist with recruiting and scheduling of all liturgical ministers, including the readers, commentators, extraordinary ministers of the Eucharist, ushers, sacristans, flower/plant care volunteers, church and sacristy care (general cleaning on exterior of baptism font and sacristy, maintain holy water vessels), linen laundry, baptism gowns, altar seamstress.</li><li>Provide training for all new ministers and ongoing training for existing ministers.</li><li>Coordinate the cleaning of liturgical vestments</li><li>Attend all Liturgy Committee meetings to determine parish liturgical policy and to assist in the liturgy planning process and seasonal church environment.</li><li>Schedule/prepare mass intention lists for altar and presider</li><li>Prepare weekly preparation Intercessions and announcements</li><li>Attend weekend masses, holy day masses and Christmas and Easter masses to make sure everything runs smoothly.</li><li>Coordinate rites and liturgical services in conjunction with the OCIA team.</li><li>Prepare liturgies for special liturgical events</li><li>Coordinate mass and meet with priest and families to help plan the liturgy for baptisms, funerals/bereavements, weddings and quinceaneras and provide vital information and answer any questions.</li><li>Assists in Maintaining and submitting orders for all liturgical supplies (hosts, wine, candles) and equipment</li><li>Prepare all required documents for marriage and send to pastoral secretary for review</li><li>Coordinate Penance Services during Advent and Lenten seasons as well as Healing Mass by contacting and scheduling priests</li><li>Prepare liturgies for special liturgical events</li><li>Maintain Sacramental records</li><li>Participate as verifier when monies collected by secretary is being counted for special intentions, masses, Easter Lily and poinsettia sales, funerals, baptisms, weddings, flower donations, renovation donations. If needed, goes to bank to make deposit(s).</li><li>Prepare the list of the deceased for All Soul's Day</li><li>Coordinate with Director of Religious Education (DRE) for regular confirmations, any special liturgy</li><li>Coordinate with Chancery for any special liturgy; e.g.; RCIA for confirmation, Rite of Election, etc.</li><li>Contact guest priests for mass and for reconciliation, as needed</li><li>Assist pastor, as needed to answer phone calls for anointing of the sick, house blessings, etc and to translate for incoming parishioners; pick up and sort mail.</li><li>Assist pastor with setting staff meetings, appointments and managing of Pastors calendar.</li></ul><p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES - This position has no supervisory responsibilities.</p><p>Requirements</p><p>QUALIFICATIONS</p><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily; must be a practicing Catholic and active in a parish; possess the ability to honor and maintain confidentiality; must work well with people of all walks of life and possess the ability to lead and train liturgical ministers</p><p>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE</p><ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent is required</li><li>Minimum of 1-2 years experience in Liturgical Ministry.</li><li>Minimum of 1-2 years of administrative assistant experience</li></ul><p>CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS</p><ul><li>Driver's License.</li></ul><p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p><p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
