Overview:
This position will manage the Stryten Energy warranty programs from evaluations of warranty claims and providing final approval/denial, to communication with Sales, Product and Application Engineering, and Plant Quality Teams.  This position will also support the HQ Quality initiatives and manufacturing plant engagement with regards to reducing manufacturing defects idendified in 0-12 MIS warranty.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Serve as the subject matter expert on ALL warranty claims, submitted through ServiceMax.  This includes Motive Power Chargers, Lead-Acid batteries, and Lithium products.<ul><li>Make warranty decisions and process warranty orders.</li><li>Anlyzes warranty data over time to find trends and possible concerns with appication, manufacturing quality, or product design.</li></ul></li><li>Work with the Customer Service team responsible for Salesforce to optimize processes for warranty failure mode analysis.</li><li>Maintain the Warranty Procedures for all product offered by the company.</li><li>Work with customer and sales teams to review and improve customer applications.</li><li>Communicate warranty status clearly to the sales team.</li><li>Work with internal and external service teams to ensure techs are trained to collect relevant and accurate information.</li><li>Participate with Service Team Trainer to develop training materials to better educate customers and Agents on battery maintenance.</li><li>Create a system for acknowledging work orders while the expert may be away.</li><li>Update and maintain warranty trends on Tableau for all product types.</li><li>Update and present a monthly report on work order processing.</li><li>Maintain the weekly meetings to review Full Battery/Charger replacement requests.</li><li>Work with local quality and engineering teams to review teardowns for failure mode analyses and potential corrective actions to address failures.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
Education, Experience, Certifications:<ul><li>Minimum of a 4-year degree in Engineering and or Quality Management</li><li>1-2 years related experience in ERP systems (i.e., Salesforce.com)</li><li>At least 3 years of experience with Lead-Acid battery, Charger, and Lithium manufacturing</li></ul> Competencies, Skills, Knowledge:<ul><li>Proficient in spreadsheets, Quality software/data analysis tools</li><li>Impeccable written communication and organizational skills</li><li>High energy level and ability to interface at all levels across the business</li><li>Ability to work independently</li><li>Highest ethical standards and practices</li></ul> Travel, additional requirements:<ul><li>Travel Expectations: 10% to HQ, AMP (Lithium Assembly), and RUC (Charger Design and Assembly).</li></ul>

Role Summary:
Rivian Care is a core pillar of our ownership experience. We are seeking a Program Lead to drive the operational execution and commercial scaling of our vehicle protection portfolio—including Service Contracts (VSC) and Preferred Vehicle Protection (PVP) products. This role is responsible for the business infrastructure, vendor performance, and multi-state operations of Rivian’s protection products.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Program management: Manage Rivian Care product and market expansion.</li><li>Vendor & Strategic Partnerships: Manage and optimize SLAs, holding partners accountable to service levels and claims performance.</li><li>Business Readiness & Compliance: Define the operational “how” for new products, ensuring that all state-specific legal and service requirements are integrated into the customer experience.</li><li>Marketing & Brand Voice: Direct end-to-end customer communications and point-of-sale materials in collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams.</li><li>Service Integration: Oversee the operational success of claims at Rivian Service Centers, optimizing the claims filing process for customers and technicians.</li><li>Portfolio Expansion: Architect, launch, and operate new F&I products in a high-growth environment with no existing infrastructure.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>Intellectual Agility: Demonstrated strong critical thinking and analytical capabilities; relevant educational background is valued.</li><li>10+ years in F&I or Related Protection Products: Domain expertise in the business or claims side of Service Contracts and ancillary automotive protection products. Experience at Service Centers or garages is valued.</li><li>Operational Architecture: An entrepreneurial mindset or track-record of building the “infrastructure” for a new line of business.</li><li>Commercial Communication: Ability to translate complex protection concepts into simple, persuasive retail messaging for customers and internal stakeholders.</li><li>On-Site Leadership: A commitment to hands-on collaboration at one of our specified hubs (Atlanta, Normal, or Plymouth).</li></ul>

Pay Disclosure:
The salary range for this role is USD $131,200-$164,000 for Michigan, Georgia & Illinois based applicants. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, and organizational needs. The successful candidate may be eligible for annual performance bonus and equity awards. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits for full-time and part-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26, including but not limited to paid vacation, paid sick leave, and a competitive portfolio of insurance benefits including life, medical, dental, vision, short-term disability insurance, and long-term disability insurance to eligible employees.
