We don’t just build houses — we help families build their futures.As part of our Service Department, you’ll help ensure every KIT homeowner continues to experience the quality and craftsmanship our homes are known for.<hr/>Position OverviewThis is a full-time travel position requiring up to 10–12 days on the road at a time. 
The Home Service Construction Warranty Technician performs warranty and service work on KIT homes across Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. 
The ideal candidate has a background in construction or remodeling, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while representing KIT professionally in the field.<hr/>Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Travel to customer home sites to complete warranty and service repairs.</li><li>Perform skilled construction work including:<ul><li>Trim and finish carpentry, cabinetry, flooring (laminate, vinyl, tile)</li><li>Drywall, tape, texture, painting, siding, roofing</li><li>Window and door repairs, basic plumbing and electrical tasks</li></ul></li><li>Communicate clearly with homeowners and internal departments.</li><li>Document service work, materials, and customer interactions.</li><li>Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in good condition.</li></ul><hr/>QualificationsRequired:<ul><li>Minimum 2 years of construction or remodeling experience.</li><li>Proficient in carpentry, drywall, painting, and basic electrical/plumbing.</li><li>Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to travel extensively (10–12 days at a time).</li><li>Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.</li><li>Ability to obtain a DOT medical card.</li><li>Must pass background check and drug test.</li><li>Dependable attendance; must be able to work occasional Saturdays or overtime as needed.</li></ul>Preferred:<ul><li>Experience with manufactured housing or warranty work.</li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.</li></ul><hr/>What You’ll Get<ul><li>Competitive Pay: $30.00+/hr.
