It does not imply that all positions within the class perform all of the duties listed, nor does it necessarily list all possible duties that may be assigned.)<ul><li>Work with crew members to accomplish assigned and required tasks.</li><li>Maintain a clean job site at all plant, well, and pump station locations.</li><li>Monitor, clean, maintain, and secure tools, equipment, and company vehicles on a daily basis to eliminate potential hazards and/or losses.</li><li>Ensure proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed daily.</li><li>Other duties as required.</li></ul>Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:<ul><li>Prior experience reading and understanding maps and drawings.</li><li>Basic mathematical and writing skills.</li><li>Communication and people skills to work successfully with fellow employees.</li><li>Ability to read meters and gauges and complete reports.</li><li>Ability to trouble shoot mechanical and electrical problems</li><li>Knowledge of plumbing for water and wastewater systems.</li><li>Knowledge and understanding of the proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies used in the maintenance of water and wastewater facilities and systems.</li><li>Thorough knowledge of applicable safety precautions.</li><li>Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.</li></ul>Required Education, Training and Experience:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.</li><li>Class D Water or Class 3 Wastewater Operator Certification preferred.Ability to obtain one required.</li><li>Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a water/wastewater operator preferred.</li><li>Prior experience in plumbing of water/wastewater systems (mains, service lines, and water meters).</li><li>Valid appropriate state driver’s license (general operator license) required; Class A or B CDL strongly preferred.</li></ul>Work Environment:<ul><li>Regularly work near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust, asphalt, water, and sewage.</li><li>Ability to work in trenches and other confined spaces.</li><li>Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry objects, use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue and to effectively jump, sprint or throw an object.</li><li>Requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination.</li><li>Noise level is generally loud.</li></ul>Powered by JazzHR

This role provides strategic direction, technical oversight, and people leadership while partnering closely with Operations, Engineering, EHS, and Corporate leadership to manage environmental risk and support business growth.The Environmental Engineering Manager serves as a key link between corporate environmental strategy and site‑level execution.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Management<ul><li>Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Environmental Engineers (Engineer I, II, III).</li><li>Assign workloads, set priorities, and ensure effective coverage across facilities and regions.</li><li>Provide coaching, performance feedback, and career development guidance.</li><li>Support hiring, onboarding, and succession planning for the environmental engineering expansions, and new projects.</li><li>Review and approve complex permit applications, renewals, and modifications.</li><li>Ensure permitting needs are identified early during project planning and operational changes.</li><li>Serve as an escalation point for regulatory agency interactions and negotiations.</li><li>Monitor permit conditions and ensure facility-level implementation and accountability.</li></ul>Projects & Business Support<ul><li>Provide environmental leadership for major capital projects, plant expansions, equipment installations, and process changes.</li><li>Partner with Engineering and Operations to integrate environmental requirements into project design and execution.</li><li>Support environmental due diligence and integration activities for mergers and
