Duties: 1. Lift Truck qualified. Secure totes, skids and supersacks of ingredients from warehouse. Return unused ingredients to warehouse. Remove trash from area and deposit in either trash compactor, cardboard compactor or recycle bin. Neatly restack super sacks for recycling. Transfer powder from super sacks to totes as needed. Sample, inventory, sort and align ingredient inventory as needed. 2. Maintain records of ingredients used. Insure that these ingredients are correct and properly cleaned before use. Take any routine samples of product or any other special samples needed. 3. Visually inspect ingredient containers for contamination and report all items found. 4. Be proficient and knowledgable in SAP and Formula management control. Use SAP to maintain accurate inventory and consumption of ingredients by item and location. Use Formula management control to obtain batch card detailing recipe for items to be dry blended. 5. Clean/vacuum/wash blenders on changeovers to specific SSOP’s 6. Dumping all bagged, boxes or barrelled ingredients into blender according to batch card instructions. 7. Assisting with building cleaning in the work areas and weekend clean up. 8. Any other duties as assigned by supervisor. Responsibilities include: Materials: Must prevent the contamination of the ingredients and/or product dumped by following dumping procedures and hygiene practices. Must visually inspect the product and bags to insure visual quality. Equipment: Maintain the work area and equipment in a safe and orderly condition. Wear proper head protection, head covering, and hearing protection. Environmental: This position will adhere to the Nestlé USA Waverly Environmental Policy, the Pollution Prevention Plan, and the Annual Environmental Objectives & Targets. The position will support the continual improvement of energy conservation, solid waste minimization and management, and prevention of pollution within the scope of the position and throughout the plant. High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment strongly preferred. Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures. Willing and able to stand on a frequent basis. Willing and able to work overtime. Willing and able to work various shifts. Able to lift up to 50 pounds. **This is a 3rd shift position: 12 am-8 am with rotating mandatory overtime at the beginning or end of shift. Pay $28.25/hr. Provide strategic EHS leadership to Viking Pump Industrial locations in the role of an EHS strategic partner. This role has oversight at Viking Pump for development of EHS policies and programs, the implementation of solutions that will keep our employees safe, prevent interruption of business operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive a sustainable safety culture across the organization.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Lead the development of organizational EHS short-term and long-term strategies to deliver on continuous EHS performance and program improvements. This includes recommendation on metric tracking, safety initiatives, employee engagement, and effective communication strategies.</li><li>Responsible for overall compliance associated with EHS metrics and reporting tools. This includes reporting compliance for international locations: Canada, Ireland, and the UK.</li><li>Ensure the business complies with federal, state, and local safety regulations by keeping abreast of existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, interpreting standards, enforcing adherence to regulation, and advising management on needed actions.</li><li>Collaborate with local, state, and federal authorities on regulatory topics to ensure the facility operates under the proper permits.</li><li>Lead risk assessment, change management, and business continuity planning.</li><li>Identify and monitor key performance metrics and indicators to ensure both process and continuous improvement.</li><li>Educate engineering, maintenance, and production in conducting and updating assessments and associated improvements.</li><li>Lead the EHS team and facilitate the development of team members.</li><li>Conduct periodic EHS compliance audits of operations and prepare associated corrective action plans; provide guidance and support in connection with audit findings and assist in tracking audit findings to resolution.</li><li>Provide periodic written reports on EHS results and EHS updates to management to apprise leaders of progress and any critical issues.</li><li>Identify, implement, and manage appropriate environmental and sustainability programs in alignment with corporate goals and objectives.</li><li>Maintain the ISO-14001 Environmental Management System.</li><li>Evaluate and implement energy efficiency projects.</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS<ul><li>Bachelors Degree in an Environmental, Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field.</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of EHS Programs including incident investigation, ergonomics, industrial hygiene, material handling safety, machine guarding, hazardous waste, and for air and wastewater permits.</li><li>Minimum five to seven years EHS experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a Union environment, and with 3 years direct supervisory experience.</li><li>Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associated Safety Professional (ASP), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), or other EHS related certification preferred.</li><li>Proactive critical thinking and problem solving.</li><li>Ability to influence and create followership with others.</li><li>Strong initiative, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization, enlisting the needed cooperation for successful implementation of programs and other measures needed to meet performance standards.</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office products including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook.</li></ul>OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Assist in the maintenance of coolant filters, washers, paint systems, pumps, air handling systems, etc. for sump changes and cleaning, as required to keep fluids within proper limits.</li><li>Measure and record coolant parameters and maintain lubrication schedules to ensure parameters are met to maintain the highest coolant conditions. This may involve the dropping and cleaning of tanks when required.</li><li>Liaise directly with the customer so that changes in coolant parameters are highlighted and can then be acted upon and enter results in appropriate databases.</li><li>Prepare detailed shift reports. Assist in routine maintenance on customer’s equipment and fluid systems including product additions, filter changes, emptying gons, sump cleaning, etc. as directed.</li><li>Assist in disposal of contaminated articles (i.e. pails, gloves, samples, etc.) in accordance with prescribed measures, including waste management and recycling initiatives.</li><li>Assist in maintaining and calibrating all laboratory equipment; such as scales, pH meters, glassware, incubators, etc. in accordance with site control plan. Assist in properly maintaining tools and utility equipment such as pumps, sump suckers, coolant dispensers, etc. in a safe and efficient manner.</li><li>Where appropriate: Cut-up, mount and prepare parts for metallurgical testing. Surface etching of parts for analysis.</li><li>Measurement and metallurgical determinations consisting of hardness and microstructure analysis.</li><li>Supports site staff general organization initiatives (inventory, storage rooms, labeling, etc.)</li><li>May work in manufacturing environment with union associates. Interact with customer’s production and technical personnel and other suppliers.</li><li>May be required to operate hand tools, shop tools and equipment.</li><li>May be required to operate industrial equipment, such as: fork trucks, sump suckers, power washers, tuggers, etc.</li><li>May require working flexible hours.
