That’s why we strive to create a work environment that challenges and inspires our employees, igniting their passion and drive to achieve greatness each and every day.<br/><br/>Opportunities available in Nashville TN, Frankfort KY, Lexington KY, Louisville KY and Indianapolis IN</div><br/><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><br/><ul><li>Design systems to safely, efficiently, and effectively transport drinking water and/or wastewater to and from end users, including pumping and storage projects</li><li>Assist senior design staff in design of water and/or wastewater treatment plant projects</li><li>Review and analyze drainage systems for storm water or floodplains to ensure safety of the ecosystem and public; designs necessary conveyance systems to safeguard the area.</li><li>Assess the need for drinking water and/or wastewater treatment systems based on current and projected future population and/or development demands; conducts feasibility studies for the construction of public utility infrastructure to meet identified needs</li><li>Analyze, or assist with analysis of, various water and/or wastewater treatment technologies, and recommend the most effective method</li><li>Design and develop specifications for various pumping and force main systems</li><li>Collaborate with contractors and government agencies regarding construction of assigned projects</li><li>Ensure design and equipment specifications comply with applicable local, state, and federal guidelines and codes</li><li>Conduct feasibility and related studies regarding the collection, treatment, or distribution of water or wastewater, and prepare written technical reports</li><li>Provide clients with technical support and subject matter expertise on water resources related issues</li><li>Conduct appropriate cost-benefit analyses for assigned projects.</li><li>Align with marketing team on RFPs, presentations and scoping projects</li></ul><div><br/></div><br/><h3>Skills, Knowledge and Expertise</h3><br/><ul><li>BS or MS in Civil Engineering</li><li>Registration as a licensed Professional Engineer</li><li>Experience designing water treatment plants, in part or in whole, a plus</li><li>5+ years of experience in public infrastructure projects related to Water Resources field</li><li>Project and / or Client Management experience is required</li><li>Ability to guide junior staff as well as participate in the design and detailing of all aspects of small- to large-scale multi-discipline water/wastewater projects of varying technical complexity</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook</li><li>Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication, as well as time management skills</li><li>Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet deadlines and other assigned project parameters</li><li>Detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment </li></ul><div><br/></div><br/><h3>Benefits</h3><br/><ul><li>Excellent compensation package</li><li>Flexible work schedule</li><li>Ability to work hybrid work schedule</li><li>Competitive holiday and paid-time-off programs</li><li>401(k) Plan and Match</li><li>Competitive health, vision and dental insurance premiums</li><li>Company-furnished life insurance</li><li>Short and Long-term Disability</li><li>Parental Leave</li><li>Variety of voluntary benefit options</li><li>Employee Assistant Program (EAP)</li><li>Flexible Spending Account</li><li>and More</li></ul><div>#LI-MK1</div>
