Job Description - Residential Program Assistant - Red River Recovery CenterRed River Recovery Center is looking to add a part-time program assistant to our team for every other Friday and Saturday, Overnight Shift 11 pm-7:30 amOverviewRed River Recovery Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Program Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Residential Program Assistant, you will play a critical role in providing support and assistance to our clients within our residential treatment program. You will work closely with our residential treatment staff to ensure the smooth operation of our facility and contribute to creating a safe and nurturing environment for our clients.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist in the daily scheduling and coordination of residential treatment activities and programs.</li><li>Observe and document medication compliance and accurately report and document any discrepancies per medication administration procedures.</li><li>Monitor and supervise residents to ensure compliance with program rules and policies.</li><li>Provide emotional support and encouragement to clients during their recovery journey.</li><li>Conduct regular check-ins with clients to assess progress and identify any issues or concerns.</li><li>Document and maintain accurate records of client activities, progress, and incidents.</li><li>Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phones, filing, and data entry.</li><li>Ensure the cleanliness and organization of residential areas and common spaces.</li><li>Maintain a positive and supportive atmosphere within the residential program.</li><li>Adhere to all ethical and professional standards, as well as agency policies and procedures.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Prefer two years of experience working in a residential treatment or similar setting.</li><li>Ability to establish and maintain professional boundaries with clients.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude.</li><li>Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.</li><li>Basic computer skills and familiarity with microsoft word and excel.</li><li>Successful completion of background checks, including criminal and employment history.</li></ul>About Us - Red River Recovery CenterRed River Recovery Center is dedicated to providing exceptional addiction treatment services to individuals and families in Dilworth, MN, and the surrounding areas. Seeking Part-Time Direct Care Professionals! No previous experience required!Work one-on-one with our clients! During a normal shift, you will work with only one client. This will give you an opportunity to really develop a relationship with that person.Flexible scheduling! Since our clients are in our care 24/7, we have the ability to staff them according to their needs. No two clients have the same schedule. If you have limited availability, we can work with you!Paid training!
