We're hiring a closer who can take a client from "I came for the free session" to "I can't imagine not having these on my wall" -- in one meeting, without pressure, through genuine emotional connection. Here's the honest shape of this role: our clients don't walk in planning to spend money. They come in for a complimentary luxury experience. What happens next is the craft. Our team wows them with the experience and the quality of the work, and our closer helps them see what they actually have -- portraits of the people and animals they love most, worth keeping, worth displaying, worth investing in. The best closers in this seat don't push. They guide. And they close at a rate that earns them six figures. THE ROLEOne-meeting close on lukewarm leads. Clients arrive for a free or low-cost offer. Our experience and our product do enormous work for you -- but the sale happens in your seat. You build real rapport, help clients emotionally connect to their finished images, walk them through display options for their home, and close the same day. Average ticket is $1,300. Top closer runs 20-25 closed appointments a week. This is not a timeshare seat. We don't do pressure, take-aways, manager drops, or manipulative urgency tactics. Our clients become long-term fans and refer their friends -- that pipeline matters, and a burn-and-churn closer will cost us more than they make us. It is also not a soft seat. Our clients are not asking to spend money. If you can't move someone from "just looking" to "yes" on the first sit, this role will not work for you. Our best closers close harder than timeshare reps, they just do it without the bruises.</li></ul>COMPENSATION $25/hour base plus uncapped commission. Realistic first-year earnings of $125,000+ for closers who hit our expected pace (25 closed appointments per week at a $1,300 average ticket). Top performers earn well beyond that -- there is no ceiling. LEAD FLOW 100% of your appointments are pre-set by our in-house marketing. Leads are lukewarm, not hot -- they came in for the offer. Your job is to convert the experience into a sale. SCHEDULE & LOCATION Studio-based. You set your own hours around client appointments -- most closers structure their weeks around when clients want to come in (often afternoons, evenings, and weekends). Position Summary:
Hiring Warehouse Runners for 2026 Concert and State Fair season at the California Exposition & State Fair. We are looking for motivated individuals who would like part-time employment to work with us as warehouse support for concerts, shows, expos, X games and the 2026 State Fair. This role pays an hourly rate of $18.00. This is a seasonal role from April 16th, 2026 and will end on August 12th, 2026.  This position will remain open until June 12th, 2026.

About the Venue:
California Exposition & State Fair is home to the California State Fair and plays host to hundreds of other signature events each year. Featuring 350 beautifully landscaped acres, Cal Expo was initiated by Governor Pat Brown and opened by Governor Ronald Reagan in 1968. The current Cal Expo facilities were dedicated as a place to celebrate California’s achievements, agriculture, diversity of its people, traditions and trends that will shape the Golden State’s future. The California Exposition & State Fair mission is to create a State Fair experience reflecting California including its industries, agriculture, and diversity of its people, traditions and trends shaping its future supported by year-round events.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Responsible for helping set up, breakdown and stocking all concession stands, portable locations & other areas. </li><li>Attention to detail including company standards of inventory control, sanitation, presentation, and quality is always required.</li><li>Ensure the cleanliness of all concession stands by removing all trash and recyclables.</li><li>Transport food & beverage, and operational supplies across the fairgrounds using golf carts and company truck(s) to support the soccer stadium operations and other on-site facilities.</li><li>Safely operate company vehicles throughout the property while coordinating deliveries to multiple locations.</li><li>Responsible for rotating food products during the stocking process to ensure the freshest products are being served to guests.</li><li>Responsible for the upkeep of the warehouse including sweeping, mopping, organizing storage areas and cleaning.</li><li style="margin:0in 0in 1.35pt 0in">Requires keeping all storage areas and inventory in neat, organized and sanitary condition as directed. </li><li style="margin:0in 0in 1.35pt 0in">Deliver items according to requisitions and place inventory in a proper fashion using the FIFO method of rotation (First-In-First-Out). </li><li style="margin:0in 0in 1.35pt 0in">Responsible for maintaining the overall security of all storage areas by ensuring that all areas are properly locked and protected. </li><li style="margin:0in 0in 1.35pt 0in">Assist with monthly inventory as directed. </li><li style="margin:0in 0in 1.35pt 0in">Make note of any inventory that is needed to complete upcoming events.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Minimum 1-2 years foodservice/hospitality warehouse experience preferred; similar venue experience a plus.</li><li>Flexible work schedule, must be able to work weekends.</li><li>Must have valid Drivers License.</li><li>Ability to work in both weather-related and non-weather-related cold & hot environments.</li><li>Capable of maintaining safety and productivity on wet or slippery surfaces.</li><li>Willingness to work around extremely hot equipment and surfaces.</li><li>Ability to navigate and perform tasks within confined spaces throughout the building.</li></ul>

Candidates should have a strong interest or experience in technical theatre, particularly AV and lighting systems. This on-call/part-time position includes evening and weekend hours and is ideal for those who thrive in a collaborative, live event environment. Job Summary: Under the direction of the Technical Supervisor, the Theatre Technician assists with the technical execution of performances, rehearsals, and community events. Responsibilities focus on operating and maintaining lighting, sound, and video equipment while also providing general backstage and production support as needed. This role ensures safe and efficient technical operations while maintaining the high standards of the Arts & Entertainment Division and Fair Oaks Performing Arts Center. Hours: Varies depending on event schedules; on-call and part-time, including weekends and evenings. Essential Functions: The following duties are typical for this classification.
