We provide a positive work environment and are dedicated to helping our employees develop the skills needed to help build successful careers.A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CONSTRUCTION GENERAL LABORER AND CONCRETE WORKERDuties/Responsibilities:<ul><li>Maintain absolute integrity and honesty with management, subordinates, clients, subcontractors and all team members.</li><li>Motivated to understand and enhance client's mission.</li><li>General Labor duties may include:<ul><li>Demolition;</li><li>Erosion control BMP installation;</li><li>Operate equipment as needed for the project; and</li><li>General site clean-up and housekeeping duties.</li></ul></li><li>Concrete Worker duties may include:<ul><li>Demo worksites and prepare for new concrete pour or placement;</li><li>Set/strip concrete forms;</li><li>Pour or place concrete;</li><li>Install rebar, expansion joints or carbon fiber;</li><li>Repair concrete structures; and</li><li>Install joint sealant.</li></ul></li><li>Follow all safety protocols at all times on jobsite.</li><li>Clean up the worksite when the project is completed.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Job Requirements/Qualifications:<ul><li>High school diploma and/or GED certificate.</li><li>One (1) year of concrete or skilled labor experience preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of standard construction equipment and materials.</li><li>Ability to lift 50 pounds.</li><li>Reliable transportation.</li><li>Must currently process and maintain a valid driver's license.</li><li>Must pass and remain in compliance with drug free workplace policies (including all Federal laws).</li><li>Must be able to pass and remain compliant with company, Denver Department of Aviation, and Federal background checks.</li><li>Must be able to function as a responsible team member.</li><li>Must exhibit excellent communications and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Must be able to climb ladders and access roof tops.</li></ul>Physical Requirements (as required by OSHA and ADA):<ul><li>Exposure to weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain and dust on a regular basis.</li><li>Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evening hours as business demands.</li><li>Pushing, pulling and lifting objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally, from position to position.</li><li>Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling while walking, standing, or crouching on narrow, slippery or erratically moving surfaces.</li><li>Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.</li></ul>Are you attentive to detail, want to work hard and be rewarded for it?
