Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, sciences, or other relevant disciplines High proficiency in Microsoft Excel including the use of pivot charts, mathematical functions, statistical functions, and regression analysis Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint Understanding of major building components including HVAC, lighting, and building control systems Basic understanding of building construction and structural design Ability to identify and analyze energy savings opportunities and use Excel-based tools for generating cost and savings estimates for solutions in HVAC, lighting, building controls, and building envelope Ability to read and analyze utility bills including an understanding of common rate structures, tariffs rates, and the ability to differentiate between 'demand' and 'energy' charges Strong attention to detail Ability to work in team environment with minimal supervision. Familiarity with building energy modeling software (eQUEST, Trane TRACE 700, or other relevant modeling software) Understanding of commercial-scale renewable energy and CHP systems, supply-side energy procurement strategies, and demand response Familiarity with a wide variety of commercial energy efficiency rebate programs and rebate application processes.
