We are seeking an energetic, outgoing, customer service pro to fill our Part-time, weekends Guest Services Representative position at our Springhill Suites by Marriott Roanoke hotel. Join our team and help us provide our guests with an exceptional stay!Job Summary:The Housekeeper Position is responsible for ensuring that guest rooms and bathrooms are cleaned and properly sanitized.  This position also assists in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the public areas of the hotel.  This is a service oriented position and requires good interpersonal communication skills and friendly professionalism while attending to guest requests.  You are required to respect the privacy of our guests and are entrusted with the safekeeping of our guest’s belongings.Duties/Responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform cleaning duties in all guest areas and public areas using appropriate checklists.</li><li>Ensure housekeeping departmental standards and checklists are followed.</li><li>Respond in a timely manner to guests’ special requests for miscellaneous items like cribs, cots, extra towels, etc.</li><li>Maintain inventory of necessary supplies.</li><li>Work quickly and efficiently for a timely readiness of the rooms for guest arrival.</li><li>Communicate room readiness promptly to the Front Desk.</li><li>Report necessary maintenance items.</li><li>Follow departmental policies and procedures.</li><li>Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.</li><li>Assist other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.</li><li>Sanitize all cleaning tools including mops, brooms, etc, at the end of shift.</li><li>Maintain a friendly and professional attitude when interacting with guests and fellow staff members</li><li>Assist with laundry duties as needed.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.
