The PATHS Program prepares prospective first-generation high school students to achieve their full potential and pursue higher education. Counselors will work with groups of up to 20 students each week at the University of Utah's campus for 8 weeks of camp plus 2 weeks of training and planning. PATHS Counselors are leaders, mentors, educators, and advocates for PATHS students and their communities. They supervise and ensure the safety of students during camp, teach and lead program curriculum, develop and coordinate enrichment activities, supervise during overnight stays, and act as positive role models. Applicants must pass applicable background checks in order to be hired. Counselors will be contracted on a temporary basis from May 16, 2026 through July 31, 2026. Some weekend work may be necessary. What You'll Do:
