Duties may include: • Develop and implement annual fundraising plans and strategies to achieve revenue targets • Identify and pursue new funding opportunities through grant writing, sponsorship proposals, and other fundraising initiatives • Focus on securing gifts of $25,000 or higher • Collaborate with program staff to align fundraising efforts with organizational priorities and impact goals • Stay informed about current trends and best practices in fundraising and philanthropy, applying relevant knowledge to enhance the organizations fundraising strategy. Additional Preferred Experience With volunteer boards and committees Experience or education in one of the colleges disciplines or related disciplines Familiarity with database computer systems and applications, preferably customer relationship management systems Public relations or marketing experience Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills using proper grammar and punctuation as demonstrated in application materials Effective organizational and marketing skills Knowledge of development activities preferably in higher education.
