An associate of science degree from an accredited U.S. college or university, or a certified foreign studies equivalency in biology, microbiology, zoology, chemistry, or a closely related field; OR, One (1) year of laboratory experience performing semi-technical tests on specimens and reagents; OR, One (1) year of experience as a Vector Control Technician Aide in the County of San Diego; OR, Two (2) years of experience providing direct support in a technical environmental health field. Note: If you are qualifying under option #1 of the Minimum Qualification with an associates degree or higher in biology, microbiology, zoology, chemistry, or a closely related field, please attach a copy of your diploma, complete transcript, or letter of verification from a college or university, or a certified foreign studies equivalency during step 1 of the application process and indicate "N/A" in the space provided.
