<p><strong>POSITION OVERVIEW</strong></p><p>The Building & Facilities Maintenance position plays a critical role in maintaining the overall appearance, functionality, and safety of Barrel One Collective's buildings and hospitality spaces. This position supports a wide range of general maintenance, repair, upkeep, and improvement projects across brewery, restaurant, office, retail, and event environments.</p><p>This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem solving, and variety in their day-to-day responsibilities. We are looking for someone dependable, mechanically inclined, self-directed, and comfortable handling a broad range of facility-related tasks independently.</p><p>The ideal candidate brings practical trade knowledge, strong common sense, and pride in maintaining spaces that are safe, clean, functional, and welcoming for both employees and guests.</p><p><strong>WHAT YOU'LL DO</strong></p><p>There is certainly more, but these are the fundamentals of the role.</p><p><em>General Building & Facilities Maintenance</em></p><ul><li>Perform general repairs and preventative maintenance throughout brewery and hospitality locations</li><li>Complete routine maintenance requests and facility upkeep items</li><li>Repair doors, locks, trim, shelving, furniture, fixtures, and hardware</li><li>Perform light carpentry, drywall, patching, painting, and finish work</li><li>Address plumbing-related issues including faucets, toilets, drains, clogs, and leaks</li><li>Replace lighting, ceiling tiles, filters, and other building components</li><li>Assemble, move, and install furniture, equipment, and storage systems</li><li>Support cleanliness and upkeep of outdoor spaces, patios, walkways, and event areas</li><li>Assist with seasonal landscaping, snow removal, and grounds maintenance as needed</li></ul><p><em>Hospitality & Operational Support</em></p><ul><li>Maintain restaurant, taproom, office, and guest-facing areas to company standards</li><li>Respond quickly to operational maintenance needs during business hours or events</li><li>Support setup and breakdown of events, seasonal activations, and special projects</li><li>Assist with small facility improvement and renovation projects</li><li>Coordinate with managers regarding facility concerns and operational priorities</li></ul><p><em>Equipment & Systems Support</em></p><ul><li>Assist with basic troubleshooting and repair of facility equipment and appliances</li><li>Perform routine inspections of building systems and identify maintenance concerns proactively</li><li>Work alongside maintenance vendors or contractors when needed</li><li>Maintain organized tools, equipment, and workspaces</li><li>Pick up parts and materials as necessary</li></ul><p><strong>WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE</strong></p><p><em>Experience & Skills</em></p><ul><li>Previous facilities, maintenance, handyman, construction, property maintenance, or trade experience strongly preferred</li><li>General knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, painting, and building repairs</li><li>Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting skills</li><li>Ability to safely use hand and power tools</li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision</li><li>Strong communication and organizational skills</li><li>Reliable, professional, and solution-oriented</li><li>Comfortable working in active hospitality and production environments</li></ul><p><em>Certifications & Requirements</em></p><ul><li>Valid driver's license required</li><li>Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely</li><li>Flexibility to occasionally support nights, weekends, or emergency facility needs if necessary</li><li>Forklift experience a plus but not required</li></ul><p><strong>WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS</strong></p><p>This role operates across active brewery, restaurant, hospitality, office, and event environments. Responsibilities:
