The network includes 44 dealerships and represents 56 automotive franchises, making it a formidable force in the $1 trillion automotive retailing industry. Job Duties<ul><li style="line-height:normal">Repairs vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Checks parts against estimate and ensures proper parts are ordered and received.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Prepares vehicles for body repair work.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Notifies management of any additional repairs needed.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Notifies management of any difficulties or problems that may prevent a quality job from being performed or cause a change in the promised time.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Maintains tools and equipment in a proper state of repair.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer.</li><li style="line-height:normal">Complies with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners and other hazardous materials. This position will be working with store level personnel to ensure effective placement of shelf products and in-store displays while assessing the effectiveness of different product displays and display locations. The Merchandiser must demonstrate a professional demeanor by dressing and grooming in a professional manner while keeping vehicle clean, organized with adequate P.O.S. and other sales materials. Other duties include but not limited to:<ul><li style="line-height:150%">Building displays</li><li style="line-height:150%">Managing GLWAS product conditions within the store</li><li style="line-height:150%">Working with GLWAS District Managers and Area Managers to address product out of stocks.</li><li style="line-height:150%">Territory Management </li><li style="line-height:150%">Correctly runs workday according to plan.</li><li style="line-height:150%">Maintains and uses reports, forms, and pre-plans</li><li style="line-height:150%">Communicates on daily basis with Manager.</li></ul> Work ScheduleThis is a part-time position working up to 29 hours per week with daytime hours varying by schedule Monday through Friday. Evening and weekend hours may be required based on holiday schedules and business needs. Work Environment & Physical DemandsThis position operates in the field with daily travel, driving in all weather conditions. Physical demands require to frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, stoop and climb throughout the day while lifting, stacking, moving, and rotating items without handles that weigh up to 50 pounds.
