This role ensures a pristine and welcoming environment while supporting overall housekeeping operations. Flexibility is essential, as this position will also assist with guest room cleaning and turnovers when needed.   Key Responsibilities General Upkeep & Common Areas <ul><li>Clean and maintain public and back-of-house spaces</li><li>Vacuum, mop, and deep clean floors and furnishings</li><li>Dust surfaces, fixtures, vents, and baseboards</li><li>Clean glass, mirrors, and light fixtures</li><li>Restock supplies and maintain storage areas</li><li>Report maintenance or safety concerns</li><li>Support event setup and breakdown</li></ul>Housekeeping Support (Guest Rooms) <ul><li>Assist with room turnovers during peak periods</li><li>Strip and make beds to standard</li><li>Clean bathrooms and reset guest rooms</li><li>Deliver linens, amenities, and guest requests</li><li>Support team productivity goals</li></ul>Pool & Changing Rooms <ul><li>Clean and restock changing areas</li><li>Maintain pool furniture and layout</li><li>Clean pool deck and walkways</li><li>Assist with seasonal pool setup/closing</li></ul>Carriage House <ul><li>Empty trash and replace liners</li><li>Clean and restock bathrooms</li><li>Maintain guest-ready appearance</li><li>Sanitize high-touch surfaces</li></ul>Grounds & Exterior <ul><li>Conduct daily property walkthroughs</li><li>Remove debris and maintain outdoor areas</li><li>Empty exterior trash receptacles</li><li>Maintain signage, lighting, and outdoor furniture</li></ul>Deep Cleaning & Seasonal Work <ul><li>Shampoo carpets and upholstery</li><li>Deep clean storage areas</li><li>Organize and maintain inventory</li><li>Support seasonal transitions</li></ul>Qualifications <ul><li>Prior housekeeping or facilities experience preferred</li><li>Strong attention to detail</li><li>Ability to work independently</li><li>Willingness to work indoors/outdoors</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs</li><li>Team-oriented and flexible</li></ul>Physical Demands <ul><li>Active role across a 265-acre property</li><li>Frequent walking, lifting, bending, and standing</li><li>Ability to navigate outdoor terrain</li></ul>Benefits <ul><li>Medical, Dental, Vision (Day 61)</li><li>401(k) with match after one year</li><li>Vacation and sick time</li></ul>Additional Duties Responsibilities may change based on business needs.   EEO Statement Goodstone Inn & Restaurant is an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
